Notes: losyark asked for John Sheppard (and McKay, maybe) travel to Rod's universe to warn them of something horrible that has already happened on their Atlantis. It turned out more asking than warning, which I hope will do. This is set post-S4, and works under the assumption that everyone who started the finale, finished it in good shape and still on Atlantis.

This story got way more serious, and way more McSheppy than I intended it to. While Sumner is a main player, he ended up fading into the sidelines a bit, and for that I apologize to wanderingwidget.
