Awesome and sad

I love this story and I'm sooo sad now. You did a really good job with the whole 'small thing that ruins your entire life' thing. When I was 17 my brother spent weeks with a recruiter from the AF. All he wanted to do was fly, too. But somewhere in week three of the discussion it popped up that he used to sleepwalk when he was really little. He hadn't done it in many! years, but the recruiter told him he wouldn't be allowed to fly in combat, something about likelihood of something in high-stress situations. He was completely crushed and we really don't talk about it at all, still. So, your story, completely believable. J-
