Mensa AU Fic Exchange
Welcome to the Mensa AU Fic Exchange!
Please read the short but hopefully informative rules bit below and then make your requests in a comment to this post. You can also post any questions here or email the mods at mensaverse@gmail.com.
Sign-ups are open until Monday 5th March at 6pm GMT. (ETA: Sign-ups closed now!) Assignments will be out as quickly as possible after that, hopefully the same evening.
Stories are due on or before Monday 23rd April (minimum word count: 1,000 words). You should submit them by sending them to mensaverse@gmail.com.
Stories will be posted anonymously to the community by the mods from 24th to 30th April with a poll for readers to guess the writer (multiple choice, nice and easy!). The masterlist will be posted on May 1st with the writers named, and particpants will be free to post to their own journals/sites from then on.
As with the community itself, all stories should contain at least one Mensa AU character. Stories requested may be gen or contain a pairing, and all participants must make three requests.

Pairing(s) you would (optionally) like to see with this character: Doesn't have to be, but if you see it happening then McKay/Sheppard'll be all right.
Scenario / challenge / suggestions: Epiphany: Sheppard ascends before they can rescue him. He can come back memoryless or not at all. How does his team deal? Why did he come back? Can be serious or for humor.
Squicks: Non/dubious-con.

Main Mensa AU character you would like to see in this fic: Rod McKay, Mensa!Sheppard
Pairing(s) you would (optionally) like to see with this character: none, lol, you'll see why
Scenario / challenge / suggestions: Rod gets de-aged/kidified (4-7 years) and is a total terror. He attaches himself to Sheppard because he's the smartest grown-up around. How do Sheppard and the others deal with him? Bonus for having Zelenka giving an "I knew you were faking (the politeness)" rant and for Rod asking a question Sheppard can't answer.
Squicks: It's a kid!fic, use your own judgement. lol
I won't write: NC-17, non/dubious-con, D/s, femmeslash, het (unless it's Carter or Teyla), Beckett or Weir (oh geez, I think that's it)
