Oh yes, definitely. Alternate realities are always fun, and figuring out the similarities and differences gives you so much to think about even after the episode ends. I do think that Sheppard just can't help it sometimes, showing off that he knows things too. He just does it more subtley and often uses those little revelations to his advantage so he can catch people off-guard. He does it so rarely that when he does, people stop and listen, whereas with McKay they usually listen with one ear because it's always the same song and dance.
I think he's disturbed that the other him would use that 'secret weapon' of his so carelessly. He doesn't usually have the same leverage as McKay and Weir in those situations so when he displays his intelligence, it always counts.
