I loved that bit in 'Sateda' too, although I watch it while shaking my head in mock depair and muttering 'John - you're such a BOY!' and 'What are you - twelve?!' at the screen. What I love about the Mensa!verse is that it's making me look at 'our' characters in ways I wouldn't have before. For example, despite his discomfort about Mensa!John reminding Rod of his intelligence, John has quietly reminded Elizabeth (I think) that he could have been Mensa, is proud that the plan to send Rod to 'our' universe was their Sheppard's brain child and can't resist showing off his own brains from time to time. I wouldn't have thought about this otherwise.
