Summary: John sat in his room, sickened. Rod was gone. In the insane desperation to close the rift as quickly as possible, he'd thrown a casual "See you on the flip side, Sheppard," in John's direction and then activated the personal shield, closed the compartment doors, jumped ship and disappeared into another universe.
