Okay, first of all, I just got home from work so I am only late responding because I am late reading! But this is a story for ME ME ME! I dig this story SO MUCH--what I loved was, like: I felt like I was blindly feeling my way through the canon of SGA in the dark, which sounds bad but was actually awesome, because--everything felt new and different and strange but also exciting, like trying to get to your kitchen without the lights, and suddenly all the furniture is monsters. And that's how this felt: John was--with great suspense, I might add--trying to navigate all these monsters in the dark, and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time with him, everything familiar gone strange and wonderful.
I"m also crap at guessing, but I'm going to go against the tide and say NOT Trin either, though I can see why it might be from the themes and the beauty of the writing. I'm going to go with valderys, too--though whoever of you it was, Trin, Val, Reulann, Wayfarer Girl, Very Rotten--it's really gorgeous work and I love it. THANK YOU!
